And yes that is where the first season of Prison Break was filmed. As well as the opening to The Blues Brothers.

He is parked at the lower right of the building.

Jake (Blues) exited on 171 over on the right side of the property.

Exclamation Possible idea for new forum

Mate that is a great photo..... which makes me think it might be a good idea to have a separate forum for "Olds in places of interest". So any time someone's on a road trip and gets in front of somewhere cool like the prison they can post a shot in the forum and we'd have them all in one place. Probably enough to make up a pretty nice calendar. We've got Canadians, New Zealanders, Europeans, Poms and us Aussies in CO. What do you reckon??

They call it the "Big House".

I would like to see con's faces looking out the windows and drooling over that beautiful car.

That would truely be cruel and unusual punishment.

Unfortunately the prison was closed a number of years ago. That's how they were allowed to film Prison Break there.

I know it's closed now, they should reopen it and throw the guys from that Prison Break show in it.

I was thinking more of a when the car was new scenario, maybe the warden's wife was visiting.
