Angry Help with a 73 H/O

I have finally bought a muscle car !!!I will try to make this short,I bought the car, and the previous owner recommended this mechanic, he has since went to jail and I am stuck with a mess.I have installed a 8 qt oil pan, he jacked the motor with blocks(no hoist)and left it as is.I was able to get new mounts on,now I get stuck...how many bolts go on the bell housing to block?and where can I find the right info for bolt sizes, like the bolts for the exhaust doughnut....I have all these bolts, and I don't know where they go....every bolt looks like they were found in a box(it fits use it.Where can I get replacements?I also have 4 wires for my starter, 2 go around the main post, but the 2 lil ones, i have no clue..1 yellow,1 black..there is an s on one of the solenoid terminals? And I need a real shop manual, not a chilton guide> PLEASE....ANY AND ALL HELP IS NEEDED. Thanks for taking the time to read

Six bolts hold the trans to the block. They are 3/8 coarse thread and the head size uses a 9/16 wrench. The starter solenoid probably has 2 smaller terminals one on either side of the main battery lug. The yellow wire usually goes on the left (closest to the block) and the thicker purple/black? wire on the right. A factory shop manual is the way to go. Check Ebay. An 8 quart pan is really not necessary for the street. The more you work on the car the more familiar you will be as to what goes where and bolt sizes etc.
