side mirrors

Are the standard mirrors for 70-72 interchangable as far as left and right side? My parts book does not list for left or right (GM part # 399509)Been looking at some on ebay, and some indicate one side only. They look like they could be used on either side.

I believe they are separate part #'s, but I am not sure. I will have to look at that.
