is a 442clone worth more than a standard cutlass restored to original?
new to these cars and was just wondering thanks for your time . tom

The answer would be a matter of opinion. A nicely done clone ( meaning done to perfection trim and appearance wise) will be worth a good buck as long as people are fully aware it is a clone. There is nothing worse in my eyes as a half cloned car. With a true 442 being most desireable a good clone would probably satisfy many looking for a musclecar. A very correct Cutlass has its value as well but it will always be a Cutlass and not carry the same musclecar image as a 442. It would be a matter of personal choice as to what would be preferred in my opinion.
