G body disk brakes spindles for '69 Cutlass
Does anyone know if G-body disk brake spindles will work on an A-body (69 Cutlass 2-door) without any special modifications or replacements of upper control arms, etc? I know the F-body spindles are a bit taller and require a different (shorter) upper control arm to bring the camber back into range. But it appears the G spindles are shorter again. Any thoughts?
Thanks, Tom |

totally different front end. part numbers different for balljoints etc. Different geometry. Try 71-72 chevelle's & other GM cars for disk brake setups etc.

I talked to a guy at the Alliance Olds car showthat had a 71 Supreme, it was a 350 with a 5-speed Richmond. He told me he put on it a disc-brake set-up from a 1980 B-body Delta. I had heard one had to change control arms but he said he didn't and it handled great. I see Summit has a whole new set-up starting at about $450, dropped spindles was more, around $550, not bad, all new. Ken
