bushings

I need in neir future to exhange the bushings of the front en rear suspension of my 69' delta 88.

is there a aftermarktet shop that sell's those?
And is their a polyurethaan bushing? to replace the old rubber one's

i prefer those poly bushings, yes it is stiffer but is stay's better in place,
hade good results with 4x4 in challenge comp.

I used energy suspension polyurethane bushings all around my 72 cutlass. I am very happy with them so far.

becouse i live in the netherlands those parts espacialy for the 69' 88 delta are not common here.

Exept if it is the same as a shebby type, those parts are more abtainable

Stock replacement suspension parts should be available at any auto parts store (well, here in the US they are...). Unless the suspension bushings are the same as on a more popular model, don't expect to find poly bushings for a B-body. I don't know if Impala bushings are the same or not. If you go to Rockauto.com, you can search a part (like your bushings) then press the "I" button to see what other cars it fits. If the bushings are the same as for a 69 Impala, you can use those poly bushings.

I would not use Poly bushings in your rear end suspension...

GMs funky 4-link rear suspension design relys on a certain ammount of flex in its movement that is not possible with the poly bushings which causes the suspension to bind up.

You'll notice a lot of the aftermarket rear suspension stuff is now going with spherical bearings or Johnny joints instead of bushings- this is directly related to the bind issues caused by running stiff bushings in rear arms.

Poly is fine for front suspension though.. just be sure to grease the heck out of it.

i know, but they sell them in differend stiff types.
red= hard bleu was soft etc,

that's the reasen i asked, their are bushings that you can compair to the stifnis of rubber.

but rubber drie out and crumble's

i used poly on leaf springs, t cases, mountings etc. in challenge 4x4 and it supriced me how flexeble it still was.
But their are stiffer ones i know
