Suspension Torn apart. Next?

So I have my front suspension torn apart on my '68 Cutlass and replacing everything as it was originall bushing. The car currently has a 350 but eventually, maybe 5 years down the road or something I plan on upgrading to a Big Block. Is there anything I should do now so she is ready for the Big Block like Coils? And Should I put the original coils back in or is it worth it to spend the extra money on new coils? What should I look for in coils? Lowered? Stock? Stiffer?

I'm in the process of doing my front suspension on my 68 flat top wagon. I am replacing everything original equipment EXCEPT i'm using stock height big block springs and heavy duty shocks on the front. Air shocks in the back with new bushings and heavy duty coils. I suggest while your at it replace the body mount bushings.
