Sounds like a blast wish I lived closer. One of my dreams is to do all that is left of route 66 with my 57 and a teardrop trailer

I do remember one Indian [ Native American theme] tourist tacky motel in Arizona though.

Wait, make that "Motor Court" with a big Indian arrow that said "Vacancy."

I know, I did a few miles on it in New Mexico last year, not much left, still one has to have dreams. I'd settle for shrip & grits in Georgia in s pinch Is that the motel with the Teepees

Are you thinking of the now-abandoned "Twin Arrows Trading Post" along I-40 near Flagstaff? You can see it on the south side of the highway as you're whizzing by.
