front headlight mounting for '68 cutlass/442

ok...so i scrounged some headlight buckets from the boneyard from a 70 buick grandsport and i amd trying to figure out how to mount them and judging by the hardware kit i have it looks like they are gonna be way the hell to far back...i got this car without any front headlight hardware and every picture i see of a 68 the headlights are closer to the bezels than mine are(i have them mocked in place) can anyone with a 68 cutlass or 442 send me pics or tell me if im missing some hard to find parts because that will just make my day if they are not available

front headlight mounting...continued

so its a special piece that attaches to the core support then the mounting hardware attaches to it and then the bucket...is the inboard headlight the same?...and looking at that piece the odds of me finding them are probably slim to none...guess im gonna have to get creative at work and fabricate something unless anyone knows someone willing to let go of a set
