Coil Spring recommendation

Coil Spring recommendation
I'm about to purchase new rear coil springs for my 71 Cutlass S. Any recommendation regarding whether I should purchase standard, heavy duty, or variable rate springs? Is there a recommended source for the springs or will Autozone be fine? Larry

coils
Hi iuhoops83
I went with standard coils for the rear and front. Car looks good. I managed to get a pair of GM replacement for the rear through my local autoparts store, but the fronts where rockwell springs. The car is sitting about 27 " in rear and 26.5" in front nice height. Running 245/60/14's in the rear and no problems.
If I remember correctly there was no real height difference in the heavy duty versus the standard. Difference was in the load rate and weight capability. If I'm not mistaken the standards where a little bit taller.

Cola,
Thanks for the help. I replaced the rears with standard springs purchased from NAPA. I'm planning on replacing the fronts next and will definitely consider the rockwell springs. Appreciate the comments! Larry.
