My son just got a 68 F-85 with a paint code of -- we have tried several sources but have had no luck. He called YearOne and they told him that some special order paints were marked that way. Anyone have any clues.

I've heard the same... that if it was a special order, something other than the standard colors for that model/year then the trim tag had two dashes. It's possible that the color was used on other years/models but just not used for that car/year. Can you post pictures of it for us? Maybe somewhere that the sun hasn't faded the color? John
