Question

my first rod and i want it to be as uncomplicated as possible, and my first decision has already been a bear! I,m trying to decide if i should use a late model frame that has all the "goodies"(disc brakes,rack&pinion,...)and if so what would be the best "donor" i would really like to hear some advice from someone who has done this a time or two.

Hi Scott, hello everyone
I'm new here also. I just dropped in from TOC/ROP, to answer your post.
You have more options than you think.
Have you driven the car, what is your skill level, and what's your budget.
Describe your present plans for the finished car.
Keep in mind that I can't help with bodywork or upholstery, and I like to keep the mechanicals as simple as posible.
I will add pix of my two '50 coupes when I get a little time.
Regards, Norm
