T-top rust issue

Hello everyone, I am considering a 1983 hurst/olds and it has some t-top rust(in the chanels) has anyone had issues with this? Is real hard to repair? I think the price is right on the vehicle but I want to know what I'm getting into so any info would be great! Thanks for your time.

It sounds like it might be an issue. Give it a water test, run a stream of water over the top with the tops in place and see if it leaks.
