64 jetstar 88 engine mounts
I finally got an original set of mounts from the man who sold me the car......all the major parts suppliers tried to sell me 65 up b body mounts.....65 up mounts will not work!! the 65 up mounts have the stud 1" offset from the middle of the pad...the 64 pads have the stud CENTERED in the pad....sooooo the "they are all the same" mounts but the engine either 1"" too far forward or 1" too far rearward depending on which side so now the correct mounts fit fine....while the 'wrong' mounts could be made to work there IS a 1" difference so beware!!

Thanks for clearing that up....I looked at a junked 64 Jstar and the mounts looked like 65 up B body mounts but I knew somehow they must be different...now I know thru your quest......and yes it burns an ass when vendors generalize and say they are all the same!...Glad ya found paydirt!
