72 Cutlass Convertible Restoration Shop GA
I'm new to this site and would like to thank everyone that takes the time to make contributions here. I've learned a great deal in just 30 minutes of looking around. I alos look forward to contributing myself in the future.
I have a 72 Cutlass Convertible, 350 5.7, matching numbers with slight modifications to original equipment (HEI ignition, headers, Tach in place of clock, missing original radio, instrument cluster added below dash). Car currently rates about a 6 of 10 in both Body and mechanical, a 7 of 10 on the interior. The paint, top and interior are not factory colors. Factory air, P/S and brakes, power top, automatic. I'm searching for a North Georgia (I live in NW Atlanta suburbs) restoration shop that specializes in Olds and could reliably take this car the rest of the way to as factory original as possible. Anyone have any suggestions/recommendations please? Thank you. Tim Boyle |

Sounds like a great car!
You are in luck! Laurenceville, GA is home of the Dixie Olds Chapter of the Oldsmobile Club of America. http://dixieolds.50megs.com/ (annoying popups...but whacha gona do?) I'll bet they could recommend an ace outfit near you. And I always put in a plug for joining OCA and your local chapter. It'll pay for itself in tech knowledge, fun, companionship, parts, cruises, shows and such. C.J.
