WHAT FRAMES CAN I USE?? 1969 Olds 88

What frames can I use for my 1969 Olds 88. I have a 69 88 I want to do a frame off but I want to get a different frame so I could have the frame done before body is removed.
My car is not easy to find so findin a frame really isnt easy. I would like to know what I can use so possibly I can get a more common car for a frame.
A freind of mine had a 69 Lesabre (Buicks version of the Olds) he was tolds most his suspension parts from his 82 Caddy Coupe will work on his Buick. If so will the frame?
If I could use the Caddy frame that would be nice cause redoin the suspension would be alot more accessable. I would have disk brakes then.

Someone reccomended lookin at frame charts for the cars but... where do I find those?

Welcome to our site. Are you wanting to drive this thing while you restore it or just want to store the body? If it is the latter then why not set it up on some good solid jack stands in the garage and let it go at that. Do not use cinder blocks or bricks though! They do not have strong compression strength.

Not so much of driving it on a regular basis I just would like it to be drivable till alternate frame is ready. Cause the frame and suspension may take some time doin little by little I lookin atleast a year. I may be movin within that time when I do I'll be able to drive the car. And my car is still goin to shows till I frame it off.

oh, I see then. You are going to do the frame FIRST and want a good donor. Hmmmm, I would look first at the equivalent B bodies from Pontiac and Buick, double check the frame measurements; width at crossemembers and axle, length from front to back, length from wheel to wheel, etc. There might even be a frame specialty place on the web that has that info already. I know that is what you are asking but and you have probably already searched but....

While you are at it, you might also look into going with front disc brakes. My Delta didn't have them and I am not sure if that was an option that year for the B bodies, don't think so. I am sure it can be done.

Where are you located? I'm parting out a 1968 Delta 88 with a very clean solid frame. I'm located in Medford Oregon. John
