Exclamation I am in search of 1977 pace car parts!

Hello all,

Over the last few years I have worked hard to restore/modify my 1978 Delta 88, and now I am searching for special parts. What I am extremely interested in are the aluminum hood, hinges (and possibly trunk) off of the 77 Delta 88 Pace Car. If anyone is parting out a pace car, or by some miracle has a spare car hood and trunk deck laying around I would love to hear from you.

It may be obvious to say this, but check Ebay often for the parts you are looking for. Although I have never seen the aluminum hood or the steel rear trunk lid on Ebay, I have seen several great Pace Car parts cars there, with these parts, in the last 6 months. They've ranged in cost from $300 to $2000. Not a bad investment if you want to strip it for the parts you need, then perhaps sell the rest of the extra parts yourself on Ebay.

Re: 1977 Pace Car Parts

I am currently located in Eau Claire WI. I would also like to mention I am always in search of parts in general for the Delta 88 including trim, body, mechanical, electrical and interior (camel beige). I would like to hear from anyone who has parts to sell etc. Thanks

A pic of the Delta.....I have since added SSIII rims, color matched :O)

Smile Delta's Rear End....

On a completely different note, I have a standard rear in the Delta 88
(2.41) and in reading my bible (78 Shop manual) they make reference to being able to convert a standard rear end to a limited slip (page 4B-26)...does anyone out there have any firther information concerning this...know anything about it, or have any advice concerning it? Thanks much for any thoughts

I think with certain housings you can change the ring and pinion gears to convert to limited slip, yes.
