Hi all, gots a prob some of u may be able to shed some lite upon!! My 48 Chevy truck with a t/a font clip an 65 vintage 425 is rollin finally,,,but havein a prob with the trac on the front being a lil wide cus of it sittin n da weeds the tires r rubbin the outside of the fenders..does anyone know of a set of a-arms that would fit that is shorter than stock?thus narrowing the track width to gain a lil extra clearance!! or shoul i jus tear it back apart n install a camaro clip?? Help me old wise ones!!!please,,yours truly n need,,,lol

Fat Man makes narrow control arms for this problem
FRONT STEER SET accepts stock spindles, these are available stock width or 2" narrowed. Fits: 70 - 79 Camaro, 75 - 79 Nova, 73 - 76 CheveIle, 73 - 76 Monte Carlo. Sway bar fits both versions as is. http://www.hotrodssuperstore.com/tubarforchev.html

thanks 4 the info,,checked it out,nice,,,,do u know if thier is any stock or stock appearing a-arms that could b swapped to have the same results? D.C.

I don't think so. If there was someone would have figured it out and it would be common knowledge by now.

yep,thats bout what i figured. thanks for your help,the ole 65,425 runs good n strong,cept for the fan looseing one of the blades @ 4500 rpm,s,,,but hey,,the radiator catched it!!! havin a problem with it killin plugs with the old point dist,weak fire i guess,,but other than that its gonna be fun!! thanks again,,D.C.
