This car is for attention whores only ...

It is surprising to me that no one is going to Pony up ...

I'm sure if I park next to your stripped W machine that I get more looks ...

GREAT idea of including videos with your for sale ad. One thought how about a vid of the gauges also so we can see oil pressure and rpms. Nice car, good luck with the sale. JKaz

I just hooked up with shop space to finish this project. I'm sure I'll have better luck when it's 100%(wrong)...

The chance of getting a good shot of a tic toc tac is not good. I have to fix it and I'll probably put some high visibility paint on the needle...

I'm going to detail the engine and I'll be sure to find all the casting dates on the heads etc. ...

Found my camera, I'll post some pics ...

This may not be a W machine, then most W's aren't loaded to the gills ...

I'm always impressed with the Original engine and it's power production (plenty)...

I've decided to start customizing the car. I'll start by getting some nice light comfortable bucketts, Fire-birds have a similar floorplan ...

Petronix Flamethrower 2 should beef up the spark a li,l...

That dual-gate is a too pretentious I'll substitute a Hurst made slap-shifter also f-boid ...

When I bought this car it was hard to find comps. There were few if any of them available. Now Evil_Bay has a bunch. There is a very close match with the same"-" color code, and color ,Rally Red as mine. However; no PW, and the engine has been worked,

I like to drive my 442. I went to my pals horse ranch and the rain had made the dirt roads slick and the posi kept trying to slide into the ditch. So I aired down and went really slow and my pal was amazed that I got to the stables .

Stroked again ...

I was offered $6,000 and a '99 benz...

The guy flaked out but at least I remembered to mention that I will take partial trade, anything from a good cheap transportation car to a V C or flat top...

One reason for the sale is that this car is way out of my league, plus I want something I can modify and I just can't bring myself to alter anything. Why mess with perfection...

The problem with this car is that the man that can afford this car does not deserve it and the man that deserves it (me) can't afford it ...

Not so, We work hard to obtain and restore our hobby cars. The only people who do not deserve them are the ones that don't appriciate them and take care of them.

Here are some firebird seats I found.

I also found some Olds floor mats.

I've added this radiator overflow off a '70 Vist Cruiser. They did not like to put these on 442s' for some odd reason.

I've shifted the window washer reservoir to the driver side. Everything bolted up using existing holes

This is my Preferred shifter. It's a "Slap Shifter" and can be found in GMs'. The oval hole in the plastic slider. I'll record the action but I need a tranny cable mount as I'd like to use a common replacement cable instead of a 442 only piece ...

I went to modify my shift bracket and could not drill it. Hardened metal had to be heated red hot and cooled at room temp. I know the hole looks off center but I am trying line up the cable so it has a straight shot at the shift lever.

I hope the purists are sufficiently offended but I fig if the 442 is not actually altered it's cool. Since I drive Chuckles a lot she has to drive right ...

Oh yeh. My tanks were dry so I got the benzo torch for $50 AT Home Despot and it heated the metal nicely. It's a li'l hard to adjust without regulators .
