Looking for some ideas on how to increase the oil capacity for a 425 in an olds Starfire 1965...

 

The stock oiling system capacity is fine for stock driving.....but you didnt ask that so, you could find an early Toronado oil pan which has an extra quart capacity or go aftermarket such as Mondello and see what pans they offer.

 

Keep in mind that if you get a deeper oil pan, you're going to need a longer puick up for the oil pump.

The stock pump if fine, but the high volume oil pumps pump to oil too fast anmd can cause problems.

This relly isn't neccessary unless your revving over 5000 rpms or a regualer basis

 

Thanks for the info...will the oil pick up from a Toronado fit my stock pump...
