1969 Delta 88***SOLD***

Well here goes. I have been reluctant to do this for quite a while because I want to be fair and have never advertised anything on the internet.

1969 Delta 88: original 455 except for J heads which were rebuilt by a college student in industrial engineering course five years ago. Worn rings, maybe a collapsed lifter or two. There, I admitted it up front, the negatives. This car was my hot-rod daily driver until I thrashed it into the ground and let the college student do the heads. As it got older I lost interest in it. The good stuff follows: Good condition Edelbrock O4b manifold with excellent (near new) Edelbrock 800 cfm carburetor, engine is very clean and well maintained. One year old alternator (not auto parts store, but rebuilt by local electrical shop with high current components), electric fan in the shroud relay operated on 185* switch in intake manifold crossover, true dual exhausts from manifolds back (manifolds modified with crossover completely removed, very similar to W/Z type), turbo flow mufflers dump down in front of rear axle (custom installed by local shop), seperate tranny cooler in front of radiator with custom fabricated high pressure flexible hoses from tranny to cooler, Hurst manual linkage shifter to TH400 with shift kit installed (needs new filter and fluid), mid 70's swivel bucket seats, mid seventies toronado four spoke black leather grip steering wheel, good glass all around, five year old paint job. This is getting too long so I am stopping.

This car has been sold.
