how much are you asking for the hood? and is it in good condition?
I have a 54 Rocket 88 and the hood is bent, I'm debating on whether to fix it or just replace it

The '54 used leaf springs, and yours uses a coil spring/ladder bar configuration, same as my Coupes. It is bigger and the right width, but used a larger U-joint. Olds/Pontiac "Anti-Spin" differential won't fit '56 and earlier.

I transfered the '50 brackets to my '57 Olds housing, replaced the rubber bushings with aluminum, "boxed" the trailing arms, and had the '50 shocks rebuilt.

Rides like a luxury car, on the street/highway, and has covered the 60' in the high 1.5s.

Did I read your mind?

That's a plus. Spare parts for a 9" are readily available.
