1970 442 CA CAR FS IN IN STL!

I bought this car in Marina del Rey (LA area) in 1997 or so. It is in my opinion a fairly easily restorable car. The body has a billiard ball sized hole in the driver side quarter, a little rust in the wings, & that is about all. Hood (flat hood) is no good. Interior needs carpet, headliner, seats recovered, & some misc. Dash & door panels are OK. Floor & trunk pans are solid. Motor is #'s matching with E heads & the wrong QJ, but starts right up & runs very well. The car is a 4 speed, but has I am guessing a Saginaw tranny mated up that is stuck in 1st gear, & the wrong type of shifter, looks to be a later type aftermarket hurst. There is a Muncie included with it, but it is from a 69 Chevy, didn't check further. AC car, power drums, has all 4 ss1 rims. Car is in St. Louis, MO. I am asking $8000 for it as it sits, & welcome partial trades of other classic olds, I really like the big body 73-77 cars, but I am also interested in 88-98's, deltas, 68-72 cutlass, etc. I also love late 50's cars of pretty much any make. I prefer a car with a 350 as I will drive it as much as I can! I also like El Caminos, Monte Carlos, Gran Prix, Regal, etc. I can be reached via email at bmwscheisse@hotmail.com. Send me a phone# & I will call you back, but I am not putting my # on the web again!
