Question Parts Place Inc's rechromed bumpers

Has any only purchased these? They have '68 442 front and rear for around 350 exchange. These are not repro, but rechromed. They say that their bumper are tri plated, as good or better than OEM, BUT not show quality. How much better is SHOW than OEM? If I have $10-12K Olds that I want to drive around go to shows in, and enjoy on the road would I be dissappointed with these? I am in the middle of a $10K sheet metal and paint job, So i will have a very nice driver, but not showroom. Thanks for your thoughts.

I had one, and it was pretty nice. The only thing I didn't like, was that the back side was heavily pitted.
Granted, the pits were chromed over, and not rusted anymore, but it looked like the moon haha.
It shined up really well and had no discoloration, I'd give it a thumbs up.
I would send you some pictures, but I sold it.

I have one and like J said the back was pitted heavily BUT not protected.
I used rust encapsulator on it.
It looks good and straight on the front but has not been on the car yet.
