1997 Bravada

Hi guys, I have a 1997 Bravada, the other day, it stopped going into reverse. Does anyone have an idea of what may be wrong?

No Reverse

Your sun shell broke, very common problem for a 4T60E transmission.

Sun Shell

Yes it is expensive to fix. The transmission has to come out of the vehicle and usually while I have it out I go throught the whole trans and rebuild it. I am like that because I don't want to see the same customer again for a another trans concern. Ever since. Depending on the mileage of your 9 year old vehicle, I would probably recommend a replacement unit. More expensive but a lot better warranty.
