I am going to convert my power disc brakes over to manual disc brakes. I believe the master cylinder for the manual brakes is a 1" bore. I also believe the rod that goes into the master cylinder is different-does anyone have one for sale or know what the specs are for it so I could find or make one? This is to be same setup as the W machines (lack of vacuum due to cam)-Thanks, Steve 949-275-1270

 

Don't know about the rod length but make sure to move the rod up to the top hole on the pedal.

 

Thanks for that info! I guess I could just hit some of the yards in the area, but being fairly new to the DFW area, not sure where yards with older stuff is here!

 

You will be lucky to find a yard with anything RWD let alone a classic car. Internet , swap meets , clubs and word of mouth is how I ever find anything. Are you a member of the Olds club here? I have made a few meetings and will be joining as soon as my car is back together.

 

Not a member yet either! Sounds like a good idea, though.
