window trim

what would be the best way to removes the chrome trim around windows on a 1970 cutlass superme?that is with aout messing it up and bust the windows

I believe you are talking about the windshield and rear window trim, the lower sections have screws, easy- the other pieces use a special hook tool with left and right hooks that you slide under the trim and locate the clip and then pry gently to release the clip from the trim..Lisle makes a tool for this...you have to careful not to snag the glass with the hook, it has a slight bend to it...
