OAI Hood question

I've got this OAI hood which is a 71 or 72. Someone offered me $350 for it. Is this a good price or does anyone think it's worth more? As you can see it would need fiberglass work, but the steel only has some surface rust. Any info would be appreciated.

I thought they were going for 2 grand?
Send a PM to Bluevista.

He would know because he's been looking for one for a few months now.

It's worth about 50 cents to me.

It's worth whatever someone will pay. I will suggest that even in that condition, $350 is on the low side, though $2K is certainly on the high side.

i would think you could get a little more for it but it will need at least a grand in repairs. the metal being cut around the hood pins hurts the value also.

Thanks for the heads up.
I'm looking for a mint one leaning in the back of an old ladies garage for 50 bucks, too rich for my blood otherwise.
I worked on boats and that damage looks like normal weekend party docking type stuff.
It really doesn't look that bad, you could turn a nice profit if it was repaired right, it would be worth spending a few bucks on. If it were mine I would fix it then sell it, you can't lose, those 4-4-2 guys are loaded and it only takes one.
I would agree that it's worth more than 350 bucks, add up the numbers.

Yeah, I probably could have got $500 if I waited longer but I'm happy with what I got.

I already got some stuff for my cars with the cash, new battery for my 86 442. Next is some stuff for my 67 442.
