Vent Lines?
I pulled my gas tank and got it all prep'd and ready to go back up into the car. However, when I pulled it down there were two lines on the passenger side of the tank. One larger and one smaller. They had a few little pieces of rubber hose on them and plugged with a bolt. I am sure this was not the original way the factory meant. Where are these two lines suppose to run and what is their purpose. I am assuming they are just vent lines. I haven't invested in a manual yet but will have to if I keep running into these types of things. Thanks for all your help guys.

Gas Tank Vent
If your car is a 1969 or 1970 Cutlass/442 it may have had one of these attached to it. This has been discussed in another thread and one of the members posted a source for repop of the vent. Try a search to see if you can find that old thread. John

P.S. get the Chassis Service Manual, they're worth their weight in gold and will help you many times over if your spending much time working on your car.
