Tubular nuts / Attach name plates & emblems
Hey,
Does anyone know where to get the tubular nuts that hold on the nameplates and emblems? I've found multi size packs at the local auto parts, but there is two or three of the size I need and they're about 6 - 8 bucks for the pack. Or is there a better way to attach these from the back side if it can be accessed? Self threading flat nut possibly? All of mine seem to be a little loose and I'd hate to lose them while driving. Thanks, Rob

You can use Tinnerman nuts (the sheetmetal ones), or get some 3M Emblem advesive and put a drop or two on the back.

Tubular nuts (and other trim clips) are mainly made by Auveco. You can check their catalog online at www.auveco.com. Most auto paint stores sell these items individually. You can also get them from clip specialists like the following:
