455 motor and 350 tranny
New guy here with a question.
First of all I am a Chevy guy so dont hate me when I say I know very little about Olds. I have purchased a 87 Chevy that someone put a 455 Olds and 350 olds tranny in. I have a 350 chevy and trans to put in it so I dont want the motor. The moter was rebuilt but a teenager who wanted a hotrod (obviously). On the trucks virgin run he threw a rod. I am wanting to get rid of the motor and tranny because I dont need it. The tranny is strong. I dont know if the motor would be worth tearing into or just selling as is. I dont want to put a lot of money into it. Anyone have an oppinion of how much the motor and tranny would be worth? Anyone want it? Seth Garrison Independence, Ks mict_sg@yahoo.com |
