Oil filter bracket 394

Hi
Is there anyone who can help me, I am rebuilding my 394 1964 and it is a pretty long time since i did take the stuff in small pieces and now then I’m putting it back in one lovely piece I have forgot what was in the top of the oil filter bracket, was it a plug screw or a pipe? I don’t remember!
But if my thought aren’t totally wrong, if I doesn’t put anything there the whole engine will have the oil outside instead of inside.
Thanks in advance

The switch for the oil pressure light attaches there. You can adapt the line from an oil pressure gauge to that fitting, too.
