Olds Serpentine Setup

Has anyone taken the serpentine belt setup from an early 80's Olds V6 Diesel and retrofitted to a big block. I understand that this V6 is essentially a small block less 2 cylinders. Wonder if the accessory brackets can be mounted to a big block???? If anyone knows of a donor motor near Atlanta, I would like to try a conversion.
Thanks,

Very interesting idea there. You would also have to use the pulleys to match the belt, either use the whole accessory or have the pulleys attached to the big block accessories. I think the later option would be preferable because I wouldn't want to use a power steering pump made for weenus V-6 on a 455 . Another option is to just get rid of A/C, power steering, air pump (if applicable), water pump etc. The only thing left to run off the front would be the alternator. I have heard of people using electric water pumps and I have deleted power steering and A/C from my car so the only thing I have to run is the Alternator and water pump. Hey, if you get rid of all electrical and run a magneto you can get rid of the alternator too .
