4-core Radiator top plate for 68 cutlass
I'm converting my 68, 6-cyl to a 455. How do I deal with the radiator top plate now that I'm installing a 4-core radiator. The 68 442 top plate is virtually unavailable. Any suggestions from modifying my original top plate to other re-pops or substitutes are welcome.
Thanks. |

![]() If you don't care about totally stock looks, cut the brackets on your current top plate and widen them. Otherwise, buy a second set of the Ames bottom brackets and weld them on instead.
