Exclamation HELP PLEASE

does anyone know the correct pushrod legnth for the "ultra high compression" 425? i need to know because i'm doing a bunch of engine stuff to it including new push rods but it's also my daily driver so i dont realy want to pull it all apart just to measure them.

Sorry I don't have the info you need, but you could just pull a valve cover, remove one rocker bridge and pull the rod to measure...could probably do it and have it back together in a very short period of time.

Also, depending on exactly what you are doing to the motor, the required pushrod length may change anyway?

according to 1972 gmpd book, 9.625" for 65-6 425. 67-425 is 9-21/32" and 455s are 9-37/64"

yeah but the only problem with that is in order to pull a valve cover i have to remove the brackets from the front of the engine (p/s, alt. etc..) and i'd rather not do that until i'm ready to do everything i'm gonna do to it. i'll still double check after i have it apart, i just wanna get the info before i start pulling stuff off haha
