Hi guys I have a question about the power steering on my 60 olds ,it doesn,t have a dipstick on the pump cap . So I do not know how far up to the filler neck I should fill with fluid. If any one knows how far up I need to fill it that would be great thanks for any help .....Cheers Noel

Some of the OLD cars actually had a dipstick like in the oil pan does. I'd not fill it past the bottom of the fill spout. If you cannot see the level with a flashlight, take a stick or something to make a dipstick with, set it on the outside of the pump, mark the top. Then dip it in, and that should tell you where the fluid level is. This is what I would do.

I'd just yank the pump cap off of a 70's Olds and hope it screws on.

Your best bet to find a nice one is at a car show, where all of those poor suckers leave their hoods open

Just fill it up to the level of the bottom of the filler neck & you should be fine.
