weight of motor and transmission

Dear friends,

Does anybody know the probable weight of a 394 motor and Jetaway transmission of a Olds 98 1959? Appreciate your help, thank you in advance.

I bet Olds64 does, he rebuilt the 394 in his "64 98 and has a knack for those kinds of things. Maybe he will see this and reply.

Both Olds 303 and 394 full dress less transmission weighs in at 700lbs
455 comes in at 620 with the 350 in at 560.

Around 700 pounds? Yes, this is closed of what I thought for motor! Sorry for this late answer and thanks for the information.
