70 455 vacuum advance

yeah a little anal but does anyone know the part number for a 1970 vacuum advance unit for the distributor on a 455 in a 442. Mine is all rusted and I think I'll just go with a modern replacement but will keep my eye out for a NOS just in case - or maybe they are all the same and I can use one from one of my extra distributors.

Any replacement you find in a parts store now will be a generic curve. And no, they are not all the same. Each unit was tailored to a specific engine's advance curve requirement.

But, for OE NOS stuff...

Grp 2.410, p/n 1973427, control, distributor vacuum advance. 1970 4400 OAI. This p/n is shared with 455-2bbl in 3600, 4200 series.

Grp 2.410, p/n 1973418, control, distributor vacuum advance. 1970 455 4BC exc performance engine (used w/ distributor 1111978)

Grp 2.410, p/n 1115361, control, distributor vacuum advance. 1970 350, 455 4BC

The 3427 is used 1969-74 on most 455 performance applications. Tell 'em you want it for a 2-barrel 455; the price might not be quite as high.
