marine block...good or bad?

Well, the motors I picked up were both matine motors, according to the vin derivitive. The pad on the block , left front corner, have an "L6E..."stamped. Is there any problem buliding one for street use?? Are there any characteristics i should worry about?

They should be fine. I've purchased several marine engines over the years and used blocks, heads and other componets in cars.
