Best Qjet rebuilder?

After two cores that can't be used, got a good 67 Qjet core for having rebuilt.

Any recommendations on quality/value on rebuilders?

While this isn't a concours type car, I would look at price difference and decide on whether to just have a basic rebuild, or whether to go with a 'restoration' type service.

I have seen SMI mentioned. Pony Carbs did a Holley for me a couple of years ago, and while extrememly expensive, it was OK.

Other suggestions?

Thanks

I have heard good things about Sparky's carb service, he advertises in JWO and you could probably do an internet search.

Nice guy, and does great work out of his own home.
I've chatted with him on the phone. Genuinely helpful.

I've had good luck with Cliffs High Performance Quadrajets. Cliff is a nice guy, but very busy when I spoke with him almost a year ago. He actually wrote a book on Q-jets, and seems to know a bunch about them.
