Hi All,
I am new to this forum and look forward to talking with you all.

I have restored many cars in my few years. I am a GM guy and love my Oldsmobiles. I currently have a 1966 Ninety Eight Conv. with the original NS code 425. Factory Dual Exhaust 3.54:1 Posi. I have installed a '66 L69 Tri-Power with all the correct fuel lines, filter and oil fill tube. The Olds also has A/C, PW, PSeat and Trunk. I also have a 1966 Pontiac Catalina wagon with a WJ Code 421HO, 4 speed and 4.11:1 Posi.

Thanks
John O'Rourke

John,

I can share your feelings about Oldsmobile. I own a 1966 Olds Delta88 Celeberty Sedan w/ "Ultra High Compression" 4254ci w/ 4bbl carb. I had it rebuilt and blueprinted a few years back when it was my daily driver.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions about my website.

I'm glad you enjoy my webiste & Please see The rest of the Oldsmobile Network! :

Thanks Ed,
The 88 looks good with the Craiger SS wheels.
I wish the paint on mine was in that nice a shape.

Thanks again

Hi again, I've been really busy lately, I've noticed a huge suge of users on my forums so I decided to make some upgrades here.

Oh, I love that tri setup. A/C and everything power. Did you switch off points and go HEI ? Let me know your setup, I eventually want to convert to feul injection (conversion, Edelbrock sells them for Olds big blocks, bolt-on for about $2,500us MSRP)

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
I just got back from a month in New Zealand.

I installed a Pertronics set up. It's not a real electronic ignition system (uses a magnetic trigger to replace the points) but it seems to work well.
I did not want to go with an HEI setup. I don't like the look. I having a distributor built that uses the electronics and cap from an '88 or '89 IROC. These cars used the small HEI dist. that looks like the Old points Dist with out the adjusting window in the side of the cap. I also have an original dual point setup from a 66 W30 that I could install after I rebuild it.

Thanks for the compliment on the tripower.
I thought it would make an interesting addition.
