Neutral safety switch location?

Where is it on a 97 Aurora? Is it's position adjustable? Sometimes the car won't crank (guages and lights do come on.) If you pull the shifter down into drive, 2, or 1, then back into park, it will start. Any ideas?

I read that thread and it sounds like that guy had the same problem, but he doesn't explain what he did to fix it. Anyone have any ideas.

It was the shifter.
Didn't go into park correctly.
