Another sad story

GM built the last pushrod Buick V6 last week:

http://forums.aaca.org/ubbthreads.ph...e_today#UNREAD

This engine was first released in 1961 as a 198 cu in engine. It was used in many Oldsmobiles as well as Buicks. The 198 was the base engine in the 1961 Cutlass/F85. In the late 1960s GM sold the rights and tooling to AMC for use in Jeeps, but ended up buying it back in 1975 after Oil Crisis #1.

I still got an aluminum four barrel for a 231. Did alot of tuning on those engines, especially carbs, sad to see them go.
