Another Newbie

Hello Everyone,

I am going to be a new Alero owner by Wednesday. I am buying my mothers Alero from my parents (Dad just decided mom needs a new car).

The car is a 2002 Bright Red Alero GL Sedan (not sure about the GL thing yet). 3.4L V6, tan cloth interior, 15" alloy wheels (wheels will be replaced soon, hopefully), and 25,000 miles.

I have driven this car on several occasions and I do like the car. I couldn't beat the cost of this car based on the lower mileage. Is there any little Alero quirks that I should be aware of, or any items that I should look into fixing before it happens.

Thanks in advance, and I look forward to seeing what this forum has to offer.

Mike

hi ...

not too sure of major problems but i did come across a website that had a whole bunch of recalls for certain years...however...not to sure if this applies to you but i guess some alero's are prone to have the dash and door panels unglue ....i havent seen it for myself but the guy does explain that the warranty doesnt cover it ...

hope this info is some help and also finding that website would be nice
