Check out my Factory GPS system

It took me 2 days to install correctly. I installed it on Saturday and I broke an igntion wire for my gauge pod so I had to rewire that this morning because I felt it was going to be a fire hazzard.

Anyway I switched from the standard "double din" radio to this from a 2004 Buick.

So this thing came from a Buick? The screen says Oldsmobile... Did you reprogram it?

Looks like an interesting swap - a detailed writeup on what it took to do it would be cool to read! If it was an easy junkyard part swap, many others may be interested in following in your footsteps.

Pretty cool, what sort of deals are those GPS things?
Tells you where to go or where you is? People tell me where to go every day but never give me directions, is there a straight down option on that thing?

The 21st century equivalent of the liquid filled Air-Guide compass on grandpa's dash.

I have a tattered 1987 street guide I use.
If you can see those things without glasses I want one, do it talk?
