Burgandy 3 spoke sport wheel, early 80's

I am looking for a 3 spoke steering wheel to fit early 80's Cutlass. Burgandy, or marroon colour. Must be good shape. Price according to condition. Thanks.

Have you tried to re color this wheel? It doesn't look like it's all that bad except for the normal paint wear. (It is a painted wheel, even though it's cosmetically made to look like a leather wrap).
Try Eastwoods. They can fix you up with a dye kit or paint kit.
I have one of these wheels hanging in my garage collecting dust. I can take a picture of it and post it for you tommorrow. I don't want it, and if you can use it, let me know. Just pay the shipping to get it to you. My wheel is dark grey, and would also have to be color changed, but it's in really good shape.
Anyway, LMK what you want to do.

One thing about the early 70's there was a Gas Shortage and you could only buy on certain days. There were many hot rods being sold cheap, the start of the Japanese insurgence into the car market. Just thought I would throw that out there.

The original post was from 2007; 12 years ago and I believe I sent him my wheel... Not really sure how your comment relates to this old thread.
