Smile What is this rubber piece?

See pics attached. I got 2 of these with some other parts. The rubber edges aren't perfect (probably age--they don't look like they were ever on a car).

Highlighted in pink (on the inside edge?), it says: Pink 1385001

On the 3 (outside?) edges it says: Yellow 1382072; White 1382906; Black 1381478--that face also says FK 2 23 (the other says FK 2 5)

Elsewhere it says: Top (easy enough to figure out)

The numbers and words are molded into the rubber.
Looks like some sort of suspension bumper to me, but ????

Thanks.

I had a buick crossmember for a fully boxed in frame, there was something like this with a bracket holding it to the top of the frame. The cross member ends fit into the slot in the rubber. John

Without 2blu442, I wouldn't have known it was a Buick piece. On a lark I went to Year One's website after that and went to the Buick catalog--and there it was.

I guess my point is every nugget of information is useful. String enough of them together and you may get an answer, or figure out where to get it yourself. So I did need members of this forum to help!
