*****

Anyone up on how to remove wiper and headlight ***** and bezels without destroying them? Just looking to clean them up and re-chrome them. It always looks good when the dash chrome is nice!!! I've got a 69-S. Thanks,
Mark

Mark, I am not sure but if you ever figure it out let me know. My headlight **** is screwed up on my 69 S and everytime I pull it I end up with it in my hand. It is some sort of clip that needs to be released from behind.
good luck
Steve

I don't remember for sure, but I believe the wiper switch has a set screw on the ****. Use a small flat blade screwdriver. Once the **** is off, a spanner nut holds the switch and bezel.

The headlight switch has a release button on the side of the switch. With the switch off hold the release button in and pull the **** completely out. Then it has a spanner nut & bezel.

Steve, if your headlight **** comes completely out the switch likely has a bad "catch" or whatever it's called. Could also be a worn shaft. If the shaft looks good replace the switch.

The headlight **** on my '72 Chevy truck has that little button on the back side behind the dash. If yours is the same, you have to reach behind the dash and squeeze the button pretty hard while pulling on the **** from the front. To replace, just push it in and it should lock in place.

As Chumley said, the button is on the side of the switch, under the dash.
