H/O intake

Does anyone know if the 69 H/O intake manifolds were on the cars when they left the Lansing factory or if Demmer installed them?

I've always heard the same thing. From a prior H/OCA meet, Doc Watson claimed the 455's were installed at Oldsmobile before they went to Demmer.

If you also didn't see it... a few months ago an original 1969 H/O intake sold on ebay for somthing like $4500... crazy...

So have any of you out there ever found an original intake at a swap meet or someplace like that? Maybe one in which the owner didn't know what they had.
