more picture troubles

when i get the pictures to be small enough to post they are very small in size and hard to see. i have seen pictures that are the size of the Paige and can't figure out how they are doing it. remember, i am less than a year old to computers. i have done the flicker thing but my pictures are just to small. i have set the camera to 1.9 megapixel and still don't work.

There are many issues to cause this.

When using the "manage attachements" feature:
One hint is to set your camera to produce pictures that are about 1MB file size average. This may take experimentation with your camera settings...
This allows both the forum software to downconvert it and it is still big enough for you to zoom in on later on your own. I have seen this site upload a photo as big as 1.4MB and convert it. Anything bigger would cause it to freak out and give up...

Since you are using flickr, you can copy the picture's link - right click on biggest picture when in flickr and choose properties; it will look like this: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3368/...394169af44.jpg Click the "insert picture" button at the top of the posting box and insert your link and hit enter. You will then have a full size picture appear within your thread and it will not be stored on this site.
If you are using the FREE flickr site, your pictures will be smaller I believe.
Hope this helps!
